Greetings Wingate!
I've volunteered for the role of President of the Wingate HOA Board of Directors because I love our beautiful neighborhood. (I certainly didn't do it for the pay!) Many thanks go to outgoing president Nick Blattner for years of volunteer service as President.
Why would I volunteer my spare time to be president? Because I love Wingate and want to do my part to help keep Wingate beautiful and friendly.
In order to do this, not only will I be proactive to increase the beauty and livability of Wingate, but I also I plan to listen to citizens of Wingate who have advice or concerns about our neighborhood and I will seek advice from my fellow board members as well as Wingate neighbors to best address our issues.
I appreciate the diversity of Wingate's inhabitants and understand that not everyone will agree on all issues, but nevertheless, I hope we as neighbors can minimize differences and compromise to keep Wingate a good place to live. I'll do my best as steward for individuals, the HOA, and all of Wingate.
Please feel to reach out to me with any concerns and do my best to provide solid advice while I work with the Board, you, and your neighbors to find solutions to any issues large or small.
Because membership in the Wingate HOA is voluntary, and the dues are low, we have limited resources. This can make it difficult for me and the board to resolve legal issues with professional counsel, let alone pay for top-notch landscaping and plantings for our entrances. Therefore, I urge you to join the HOA and pay the meager annual dues so we can be prepared to deal with any major issues in a professional way, not to mention make visual improvements to our entrances and signs. Of course, dues-paying members have a say in how our money is spent because all member have the opportunity to review and then vote on our annual budget.
[Please know that no money from dues goes to any HOA board member- we are all volunteers and dues go directly into landscaping, lighting, social events, insurance and other important items.]
If you are unable to pay the relatively minimal annual dues, please consider volunteering your time as a board member, web administrator, or event volunteer instead. I need all the help I can get!
If you are unwilling to pay dues because of a specific issue, please let me know so I can correct it and make the HOA more inclusive- not for me, but for the good of our entire neighborhood.
Finally, because I cannot fully dedicate my regular work week daytime hours to this volunteer position, please be patient with communications- which I may have to do late at night or on weekends- but please know your concerns are important to me and will not be ignored. I thank you in advance for your patience and I hope to see you in the neighborhood!
Yours truly,
Frank Koegler
